Kimi Lu  has always been a bundle of positive energy, one who'll never fail to make you smile and giggle at life's daily drama. For her birthday this year, she decided to be  Ninang  to the orphans in  White Cross Children's Home  in San Juan. I celebrate May with quite a number of friends born in the same merry month as I am. The month's celebrations officially start with Tita Passy Teopaco 's birthday. The Teopacos has long ago adopted me as their own, and like real family, I've laughed, cried, danced, sang and watched the sun go up with them. This year, birthday dinner was at Yakumi in Solaire , the fabulous new hotel and casino by the bay. Dinner was so good, we forgot our diets, we had our beef and ate it too! We went around the casino after to burn calories and marvel at the huge floral arrangements and magnificent chandeliers.
