Disneyland Just Got Happier

I was already an adult when I first experienced Disneyland, my brother and his family's first home in the United States was in Katella Avenue, a block away from the world's most famous theme park. Every time I visit Southern California, I'm always asked by my friends where they can take me and I always say - Disneyland! Each time, there's some new ride and Small World never fails to make me sing along. No matter how serious life gets, you still have that one place where you can be a kid again and be silly with friends, no wonder they call it "the happiest place on earth". Minnie showing off her dress! Main Street Small World I still found myself singing along with the dolls! Toon Town Waaaaaaaah! Happy friends! Dennis and Kasia. Kasia ordered the chicken salad. Dennis had the chicken sandwich with yummy fries on the side! I had turkey sandwich that came with fruits! G

A Boat Ride

My eldest niece Patricia recently graduated from college and her mother, my sister-in-law Sheilah Marie surprised her with a boat ride in Newport Beach . Sheilah requested all of us to wear something blue that day and she brought blue colored champagne flutes and napkins as well, quite picture perfect I thought. It was a good four hours of cruising in our rented pontoon. We particularly enjoyed the cool summer breeze and seeing the pretty City Ville-like houses lining the shores. I wish life can be like a boat ride - simple, uncomplicated and always moving forward. This looks easy.. Girl with the dragon tattoo, my sister-in-law Sheilah mixing drinks. My brother Jake and my niece Patricia. My Mom enjoying the breeze. Patricia's home made brownies. The old man caught a baby stingray and let it go again. Posing for the camera, Sheilah's nieces - Kyla and Kelsey. Coca Cola moment. A wedding reception on a

Rebooting

It's been a month since I last posted an entry. I was a nervous wreck for eight weeks preparing for my first ever gala fashion show, I thought I was going to have a heart attack. My story about my twenty-five years in fashion and the big night I have yet to write, but first, I need to reboot. A long over due holiday with my mother and visit to my brother Jake and his family in Southern California, I'm looking forward to nine days of sunshine, road trips, Target and Trader Joe's. Good company - a little hula dancer on top of the car dashboard. California blue skies. Summer blooms in a lovely shade of violet. Laguna Beach. Me and my shadow. Southern California sunset.
